mobileStorm Joins Email Sender and Provider Coalition (ESPC)
Company Continues Commitment to Optimal Delivery by Becoming Member of Key Email Delivery and Technology Group
LOS ANGELES, CA - September 11, 2006 -- mobileStorm Inc., a leading provider of database messaging solutions, today announced that it has become a member of the Email Sender and Provider Coalition (ESPC) in its continuing pursuit of ensuring optimal email delivery for its clients.
The ESPC was formed in 2002 in response to leading marketers' and email service providers' desire to preserve email as a legitimate marketing channel and to protect it from the threat of unscrupulous marketing practitioners. The ESPC promotes standards and policies that reward responsible email marketing and helps the long-term growth and viability of the industry.
"As a permission-based messaging company, we have always strived to maintain best practices for both ourselves and our clients," said Steve Chipman , chief operating officer of mobileStorm. "Joining the ESPC is critical to our success and, more importantly, our clients' email marketing success. We look forward to being active members in this highly influential organization."
mobileStorm via its flagship product Stun!, a do-it-yourself database messaging system, will adopt ESPC standards and work with the organization to ensure that future versions of the application will be tuned to get more messages delivered to the inbox. The ESPC is currently working on solutions to spam and deliverability concerns through a combination of legislative advocacy, technological developments, industry standards and strategic public relations. mobileStorm will join the EPSC in supporting these efforts to keep email a key communication vehicle.
