The Article 29 Working Party has issued an Opinion on the Recent Developments on the Internet of Things. The Working Party defines the Internet of Things as an infrastructure in which billions of sensors embedded in common, everyday devices are designed to record, process, store and transfer data and, as they are associated with unique identifiers, interacted with other devices or systems.
