Sen. Richard Blumenthal announces "MY DATA" bill to restore online privacy

US Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) has introduced the "MY DATA" Bill to restore online privacy. The Bill also assigns jurisdiction over Telco Common Carriers to the FTC. 

Comment from Reed: [Note:  Not so sure this is good for Broadband Internet Access providers, because if the FTC found all TV viewing behavior is sensitive personal information requiring opt-in in the Vizio case, then why would they not find the same thing for all Internet traffic?]
